Get paid Weekly - Sales Rep

Vector Marketing is currently accepting applications and conducting interviews for part-time sales representatives. Our customer service-oriented sales team works with customers through relaxed, one-on-one appointments to present and sell Cutco products. We offer a guaranteed minimum base pay so representatives are not pressured to make sales. Instead, we focus on delivering a positive and professional customer experience. We believe the quality of our products naturally supports the sales process. Apply now and interview within the week.

What We Offer:

Commission opportunities are available based on performance. Representatives can earn additional income while still receiving pay during slower weeks. Weekly compensation is paid as either base pay or commission, whichever amount is higher for that week.

We provide strong initial training before representatives begin working, along with continued guidance, support, and additional training over time.

Our product selection includes Cutco kitchen products and select gardening tools. No previous sales experience or product knowledge is required.

Flexible scheduling allows representatives to set weekly availability around school, internships, holidays, exams, full-time employment, or family responsibilities.

After completing training, sales representatives work within their local area. Meetings and training sessions are held in the office.

Opportunities for advancement are available, including long-term sales roles and management positions, even for those who begin part-time.

What We Require:

Enjoy working with people
Must be at least 17 or 18 years old and a high school graduate
Conditions apply
Willing to learn and apply new skills
Available to interview within the next 5 to 7 days

What Makes a Good Candidate:

Whether you work in retail, food service, customer service, or administrative roles, our flexible scheduling can work around your existing commitments. Students seeking winter break work or individuals who need adaptable schedules are encouraged to apply. Educational background is not a requirement, as full training is provided. Applicants of all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Many successful representatives come from a variety of backgrounds, including warehouse work, restaurant service, cashier roles, administrative positions, and communications.

Our training program is designed to help individuals succeed regardless of previous experience, including those who have worked as baristas, line cooks, cashiers, or stockers.

What's It Like?

So, what's it like to actually be a Cutco representative?

While each day is different, daily activities might include:

  • Scheduling appointments with potential customers
  • Presenting Cutco products through virtual appointments
  • Submitting their orders online and through our app
  • Reviewing sales performance with their manager
  • Attending an optional weekly Zoom meeting

How We Work

Our sales representatives meet one-on-one with potential customers through in home or virtual appointments. The sales rep's job is to show Cutco and help those customers find the perfect set that fits their needs.

Most people buy, but some don't. And, that's okay.

We give our sales reps a guaranteed base pay each time they show Cutco to a qualified potential customer whether the customer buys or not.

There's a reason why we pay our reps regardless of sales results. We don't want a sales rep to ever feel pressure to make a sale in any way that's pushy with a customer. We think Cutco is pretty awesome and want customers to buy it because they love it.

How can we pay people even if they don't make a sale? Frankly, most people who see Cutco buy something, so we can afford to create this safety net for our reps.

Because our reps are independent contractors, they enjoy real flexibility and control over their own schedules. They set their own appointments based on their availability day-by-day.

Our sales reps pride themselves in providing ridiculously awesome customer service and enjoy representing a truly incredible (and useful) product.

And, it works. Over 15 million homes in North America alone have Cutco in their kitchen.

If you feel you would be a good fit for our sales team, submit your contact information and a receptionist will reach out by text to schedule an interview with a manager.
