This role acts as a central point for operational excellence, governance, risk management, and internal communications, contributing directly to the achievement of country-level strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing diverse responsibilities in a dynamic environment.<br><br><strong>What You Will Be Doing<br><br></strong><strong>Project & Operations Management: <br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee and manage various country-level projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.</li><li>Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the country office.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks.</li><li>Monitor and report on key operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Governance & Compliance Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensure adherence to all relevant local laws, regulations, and internal company policies and procedures.</li><li>Develop and maintain a robust framework for corporate governance within the country office.</li><li>Act as a point of contact for compliance-related matters, providing guidance and support to various departments.</li><li>Facilitate the implementation of new policies and procedures related to governance and compliance.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Internal Communication Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and execute an effective internal communication strategy for the country office, ensuring consistent and timely dissemination of critical information.</li><li>Manage various internal communication channels (e.g., newsletters, intranet, town halls).</li><li>Foster a culture of transparency and open communication within the country team.</li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership to craft key messages and ensure their effective delivery.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Coordination Of Office Activities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Oversee the overall smooth functioning of the country office, including facilities management, vendor relationships, and office supplies.</li><li>Oversee administrative staff and ensure efficient support for all departments.</li><li>Organize and coordinate company-wide meetings, events, and workshops.</li><li>Implement and manage office policies and procedures to ensure a productive and safe work environment.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Risk And Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Identify, assess, and monitor country-level operational risks.</li><li>Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.</li><li>Lead the development, maintenance, and regular testing of the country's Business Continuity Plan (BCP).</li><li>Act as the primary coordinator during any BCP activation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</li><li>Provide training and awareness on risk management and BCP to country staff<br><br></li></ul><strong>Supporting Internal And External Audits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors for all country-level audits.</li><li>Coordinate the provision of requested documentation and information to auditors.</li><li>Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of recommended actions.</li><li>Prepare and present audit-related reports to senior management<br><br></li></ul><strong>Operations Analysis & Reporting<br><br></strong><ul><li>Data Collection & Analysis: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, HR, Operations) to identify data needs and facilitate the collection of relevant business data.</li><li>Conduct in-depth analysis of operational and business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement or potential risks.</li><li>Utilize analytical tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, statistical software) to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Position Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.</li><li>15+ years of progressive experience in an office management, business operations, or project management role, with significant experience at a country or regional level.</li><li>Proven track record in managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory compliance.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing Business Continuity Plans (BCP).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in [mention relevant software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, collaboration tools].</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data visualization) is essential.
