Description As part of our commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and high-performing workforce, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Global Medical & Health team. This role will serve as a key partner in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing innovative health programs, and supporting the integration of occupational health best practices across our global operations. In this leadership role, you must be able to earn trust and build strong relationships with our global operations leadership, central and filed safety professionals and provide thought leadership. This role will drive the implementation of innovative Occupational Health interventions that help workers leave the workplace healthier than when they came. Key job responsibilities * Regulatory Compliance & Program Oversight * Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health regulations and corporate standards. * Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments related to employee health programs. * Maintain comprehensive records to support regulatory and legal requirements. * Act as the liaison with governmental and regulatory bodies on health-related matters. Health Promotion & Project Management * Design and implement evidence-based health promotion initiatives (e.g., ergonomics, fatigue management, cardiovascular health). * Lead cross-functional health projects, coordinating with HR, EHS, Operations, and external providers. * Develop metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Physiologic Monitoring & Job Demand Analysis * Collaborate with safety and operations teams to assess physical job demands. * Support the implementation of physiological monitoring tools (e.g., wearable tech, heart rate variability, fatigue tracking) to evaluate workforce resilience and recovery. * Contribute to the design of interventions that optimize worker health and productivity. Clinical & Advisory Support * Provide clinical guidance and support for occupational health cases, including fitness-for-duty evaluations, return-to-work plans, and workplace accommodations. * Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on occupational health risks and strategies. A day in the life The Global Occupational Health Nurse, will provide strategic leadership for the quality of preventive health management programs. You will work closely with the WHS Global Medical Director, and dedicated WHS Safety professionals while collaborating with internal stakeholders, and country specific health authorities to identify and mitigate workplace health risks. As a subject matter expert, you will offer essential guidance on occupational health, regulatory, and compliance matters, and you will serve as the primary point of contact for localizing health policies in this unique opportunity to shape how health programs are managed globally by driving cross-functional initiatives and partnering with a dynamic team of health professionals. Basic Qualifications * Registered Nurse (RN) license required * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum of 5 years' experience in occupational health nursing, within a corporate or industrial setting. * In-depth knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, and relevant global health regulations. * Demonstrated experience in project management, with organizational and stakeholder engagement skills. * Familiarity with wearable technologies, health data analysis, and emerging innovations in workplace health. * Communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market.
