Customer Business Manager, Drug & Value

Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a global company: GPN’s brand portfolio includes Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, think!, Amazing Grass and more, each with its own brand essence. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition and lifestyle products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, ready-to-eat snacks and general health. We are hiring a Customer Business Manager to the team!

As a Customer Business Manager-Drug, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing key strategic relationships with CVS and Walgreens. The role involves strategic planning, a keen understanding of market dynamics, managing an accurate forecast, trade management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitable growth and market share for the Glanbia Performance Nutrition business. You will build and grow commercial relationships with our CVS, Walgreens, and distributor partners to help GPN become the go to Nutrition and Wellness partner.

  • Build and grow a strategic partnership with Drug channel retailer partners to align on mutual customer and business objectives.
  • Lead revenue budget planning and forecasting for the Drug channel to deliver on net sales and profit targets.
  • Own the Drug channel customer trade budget and manage customer growth and profitability targets.
  • Partner with supply chain to ensure best in class supply chain operations, demand forecasting, and in stock rates for Drug channel customers.
  • Develop and execute strategies that meet assigned sales and market share goals for Drug channel customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Category Management, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Customer Strategy, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Sales Finance
  • Bring a deep understanding of CVS and Walgreens strategies, operations, capabilities, and retail customer's goals.
  • Lead, collaborate, and manage Broker relationships
  • Regularly provide business updates and reporting to key stakeholders


Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and least 4 years of Drug Channel experience selling into and/or supporting CVS or Walgreens businesses.
  • Proficiency with customer and syndicated data tools (IRI, Circana, Nielsen, etc)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Strong understanding of a P&L and impacts from basic decision making can have on P&L


Role is remote; apply now and make a difference in the world of health and wellness! Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. The annual salary is $100,000 - $135,000 plus an annual bonus. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
