Venue Cleaner - Early Morning Shift

Description

About The Role

At Butlin’s, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable experiences to thousands of guests every week. To help us maintain the highest standards across our resort, we’re looking for dedicated Venue Cleaners to join our team.

As a Venue Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our public areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for all our guests.

You’ll be part of a friendly, hard-working team committed to creating a clean and comfortable environment for everyone who visits Butlin’s.

If you take pride in your work, have a great eye for detail, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!

About You

You don’t need any experience to work as part of our teams. If you have a warm, friendly manner and love to chat to people, we can teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our team. If you do have any previous experience, we would also love to hear from you.

Being a great team player is essential and you should also enjoy the buzz of a busy environment. No day will ever be the same, so you should be happy to try new things and chat to lots of different people.

Our resorts are open in the week and during the weekend so you will need some flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Do let us know your availability at the application stage and we can have a chat with you about this in more detail.

Normal working hours for the early morning shift are 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Please note that, due to lone working and the nature of the hours required for this role, applicants must be aged 18 or over. Start and finish times may vary depending on shift patterns or operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

At Butlin’s, we’re passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for our guests – and that starts with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. We’re currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cleaning Team Members to help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across our resort.

As part of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks across our main venues and outdoor areas, including:
- Cleaning main venues and toilets, using electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided)
- Handling cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly (full training provided)
- Carrying out external cleaning duties, including emptying general waste and recycling bins
- Moving and arranging furniture to support venue activities and events
- Maintaining the cleanliness of floors in venues and public spaces
- Dusting and cleaning furniture, fittings, and high-touch areas
