About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant and Consultant- Sustainability with strong environmental expertise to lead the delivery of sustainability and environmental services for our projects. This position is based in Dubai. The successful candidate will oversee sustainable design projects, conduct assessments, implement green building strategies, and ensure compliance with environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks, environmental legislation in the UAE, and construction best practices.

Sustainability Manager


Key Responsibilities:



  • Conduct sustainability assessments and implement green building strategies

  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals

  • Provide technical advice on sustainable design and construction practices

  • Preparation and quality control of the green building design documentation as well as project specifications, calculations, plans and submittals

  • Prepare, review, and update CEMPs in compliance with EAD and other local authority requirements.

  • Conduct regular site-based CEMP audits to ensure adherence to environmental commitments.

  • Coordinate and manage the submission and approval process with EAD for environmental permits, NOCs, and approvals.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE environmental laws, EAD regulations, and project-specific environmental conditions.

  • Coaching of junior staff.

  • Business Development support

  • Communicate and network with new potential clients and contacts

  • Contributions to regional publications, lectures, and teaching

  • Personal development and plan to develop necessary skills

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.

  • Proven proficiency in sustainable design principles and green building certifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in sustainability and environmental management in the UAE or GCC.

  • Proven experience in CEMP preparation, implementation, and auditing.

  • GCC experience is essential

  • Strong knowledge of EAD requirements, procedures, and approval processes.

  • Familiarity with environmental standards and regulations.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and graphical presentation skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent planning and organization skills for keeping up with fast-paced settings.

  • LEED AP BD+C credential required, in addition to PQP.

  • Project Management and Project Accountability

  • Strong written and spoken English, Arabic language skills preferred.

  • UAE Driver’s license required.

Preferred:



  • Environmental auditing certification (e.g., ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or NEBOSH EMC).
