Job Responsibilities

1. Client Flow Analysis

  • Detect patterns, correlations, and behavioral signals in traders' orders.
  • Assess continuation/reversal probability after user trades.

2. Market-Making Strategy Development

  • Build quoting logic based on current liquidity and position exposure.
  • Incorporate funding rates, cross-margin positions, and hedging strategies.
  • Dynamically adjust spreads and order book depth based on real-time data.

3. Development & Backtesting

  • Participate in building and maintaining a proprietary database of trades and orders.
  • Develop a trading simulator to model market flow (including fees, latency, and spread slippage).
  • Rapidly prototype and test hypotheses in both simulated and live market environments. 

4. Profit Optimization

  • Balance spread capture with holding positions against the overall market.
  • Apply robust risk control models to minimize large drawdowns.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in algorithmic trading on CEX futures, equity margin trading, or CME futures.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Crypto futures mechanics (perpetuals, funding, margin).
    • Order book microstructure and execution logic.
    • Adverse selection and trading against aggressive flow.
  • Proficient in Python or C#.
  • Ability to build data pipelines from scratch without pre-existing datasets.
  • Solid understanding of risk management in high-frequency environments.
  • Self-sufficient and able to operate without pre-built infrastructure or tooling.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HFT (high-frequency trading) or ultra-low-latency trading.
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable market-making strategies on live capital (beyond backtests).
  • Experience applying machine learning techniques to order flow classification.
