Position Overview
The Procurement Executive is responsible for executing procurement processes across multiple business units, including time-sensitive and high-priority categories. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of operating independently, ensuring full compliance with internal governance, and responding swiftly to urgent business needs. You may also guide junior team members and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Create item codes and purchase orders (POs) in the ERP with high accuracy and speed.
Lead procurement readiness for urgent requests (e.g., high-velocity brands, after-hours POs).
Track requisitions and ensure visibility and consistency throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Monitor SLA adherence and escalate recurring delays or policy breaches.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to the Delegation of Authority (DoA) and internal policies.
Maintain version-controlled SOPs for recurring activities.
Maintain accurate master data (vendors, items, approvals) that is always audit-ready.
Ensure full documentation trail across all transactions.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the first point of escalation for junior team members and internal stakeholders.
Maintain effective relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks.

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions to reduce cycle times or costs.
Support onboarding of new team members and provide ongoing peer support.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and analytics (e.g., PO aging, SLA metrics).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Purchase Order cycle time
SLA compliance for urgent POs
Aging of open POs
Compliance with approval workflows
Accuracy of PO and item data
Operational improvements driven and impact

Requirements
Basic Qualifications

5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in sectors like Consumer Electronics.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong understanding of procurement governance and transaction lifecycle.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy and documentation standards.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, Oracle NetSuite, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI is a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Arabic is a plus).
Ability to prioritize urgent requests while managing day-to-day tasks.
Proactive, responsive, and result-driven mindset.
Comfortable working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
