Synopsis
The PPC Officer will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing search engine marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, flight bookings and revenue. They will work closely with the other areas of Digital Acquisition including SEO and paid media channels, as well cross-functional teams in Digital & Ecommerce, to align PPC activities with business goals and objectives. The PPC Officer will ensure adherence to best practices, implementation of effective bidding strategies and apply optimisation techniques to consistently maximise airline revenue.
Accountabilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns across multiple platforms including Google, Bing, Yandex, Naver, Yahoo Japan, Baidu, 360 & Sogou.
  • Support digital campaign managers in ensuring search campaigns are delivered according to the schedule and within set budgets.
  • Work collaboratively with the in-house Digital Acquisition team, vendors and agency to deploy a customer-centric approach to digital marketing; relevant and effective across all digital customer touch-points.
  • Aggregate and analyse data, generating cross-platform reports for digital marketing activities.
  • Monitor and measure SEM activity using available analytics tools, such as Adobe/Google, deriving data-driven insights to inform actions and optimisations.
  • Track and monitor digital performance budget spends ensuring budgets are not overspent, modifying spend where necessary.
Education & Experience
  • 4 plus years or Minimum 3 years of experience working in a client or agency PPC role, airline experience desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience of managing PPC budgets in excess of 1m USD annually
  • Platform certification in SA360, Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of SQL and Javascript in to support teams responsible for web/app implementation with PPC requirements.
  • Extremely proficient in Excel. Experience of using DataStudio, Power BI or similar analysis tools is also preferable.
