Job description RoleEmployment Full Time Synopsis The PPC Officer will be responsible for planning implementing and managing search engine marketing campaigns to drive website traffic flight bookings and revenue They will work closely with the other areas of Digital Acquisition including SEO and paid media channels as well cross functional teams in Digital Ecommerce to align PPC activities with business goals and objectives The PPC Officer will ensure adherence to best practices implementation of effective bidding strategies and apply optimisation techniques to consistently maximise airline revenue Accountabilities Plan execute and manage paid search campaigns across multiple platforms including Google Bing Yandex Naver Yahoo Japan Baidu 360 Sogou Support digital campaign managers in ensuring search campaigns are delivered according to the schedule and within set budgets Work collaboratively with the in house Digital Acquisition team vendors and agency to deploy a customer centric approach to digital marketing relevant and effective across all digital customer touch points Aggregate and analyse data generating cross platform reports for digital marketing activities Monitor and measure SEM activity using available analytics tools such as Adobe Google deriving data driven insights to inform actions and optimisations Track and monitor digital performance budget spends ensuring budgets are not overspent modifying spend where necessary Support a defined testing plan to increase business insight from PPC campaigns with a focus on revenue generation and cost savings Support data driven marketing projects in collaboration with internal teams and vendors using GCP tools such as Google BigQuery Keep abreast of the latest innovations and technologies in digital marketing to support commercial objectives Requirements Education Experience Minimum 3 years of experience working in a client or agency PPC role airline experience desirable Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or a related field Experience of managing PPC budgets in excess of 1m USD annually Platform certification in SA360 Google Campaign Manager Google Ads and Google Analytics Understanding of SQL and Javascript in to support teams responsible for web app implementation with PPC requirements Extremely proficient in Excel Experience of using DataStudio Power BI or similar analysis tools is also preferable Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations Optional proficiencies that would be considered a bonus are knowledge of Python experience of DV360 and experience with Adobe Audience Manager About Etihad Airways Etihad Airways the national airline of the UAE was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the worlds leading airlines From its home in Abu Dhabi Etihad flies to passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East Africa Europe Asia Australia and North America Together with Etihads codeshare partners Etihads network offers access to hundreds of international destinations In recent years Etihad has received numerous awards for its superior service and products cargo offering loyalty programme and more Etihad is recognised as one of the worlds leading airlines in response to COVID 19 and was the first airline in the world to fully vaccinate its crew on board Etihad sees tackling the climate crisis as the most important issue of our time and through strategic partnerships with major global aviation brands and OEMs Etihad is relentless in its pursuit of industry decarbonization About the CompanyEtihad Airways is the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates The airline was set up by a Royal Decree in July 2003 with Abu Dhabi the capital of the UAE as its hub Etihad started commercial operations in November 2003 With Etihad everyone who flies with us is welcomed as our guest This simple credo illuminates everything we do from big things like making sure that our fleet is one of the most advanced in the sky to small touches like letting you choose the films you watch Were proud to be the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates At the crossroads between Europe and Asia our home reflects our commitment to bringing the world closer together as does our highly cosmopolitan staff
