We are looking for a creative and experienced MEP Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. As an MEP Design Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and designing in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) practice for residential and commercial projects.

Job Description:

  • Designing MEP systems for new construction projects
  • Conducting load calculations and energy modeling
  • Coordinating with architects and other engineers
  • Performing site visits and quality control checks
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports
  • Has proven experience in MEP design detailing in the areas of swimming pool, water features & irrigation.
  • Critically reviews relevant documents prior to starting the preparation of drawings
  • Checks and corrects work prepared by others to conform to standards, specifications, and design requirements
  • Prepares finished drawings for construction work from sketches, specifications, and field notes
  • Prepares MEP calculations, equipment sizing, and piping sizing
  • Handles design change requirements, including but not limited to piping and plumbing
  • Reports to direct supervisor for smooth coordination of design work
  • Prepares quick, simple, and accurate hand calculations to check the designs of others
  • Monitors ongoing design activities, specially design and shop drawings as per requirements of consultant and client

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • University Degree preferably in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING / MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Landscape/Agriculture fields
  • Fluent in English
  • A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Trimble SketchUp, Graph iSOFT ArchiCAD
  • Proven working experience in construction field.
