Loan Documentation Representative (Remote Eligible: AZ, KS, MO, NM, NV)
Job Description:
Summary:
Responsible for preventing losses to the bank through proper documentation of the bank’s loans. Reviews the integrity of documents used in closing the loan, and ensures the documentation process results in legally binding documents which are in compliance with Federal regulations and Bank’s policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that loan documentation is in compliance with Federal and Bank regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain established documentation metrics for cycle, volume and fpq's.
  • Prepare loan documentation through the use of LaserPro.
  • Prepare and Review final loan closing packages for accuracy and completeness prior to sending to the units.
  • Resolve loan documentation issues or questions on new loans, renewals, and modifications through effective communication with unit loan coordinators and relationship managers
  • Verify completeness of LoanForce applications and corresponding documents prior to documenting
  • Identify and review organizational documents of borrowers and guarantors
  • Read and understand title commitments, letter reports, and construction binders
  • Understand and follow flood requirements
  • Document and perfect liens using Deeds of Trust, Assignment of Rents/Leases, Mortgages, UCC-Article 9, First Preferred Ships Mortgage, Aircraft Security Agreement, Brokerage Accounts, etc.
  • Issues and amends standby and commercial letter of credit
  • Reviews letter of credit for completeness, it’s in compliance with standard practices and department guideline
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
  • Able to prioritize daily workflow to insure on time delivery
  • Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and third party vendors
  • Proficient in Laser Pro and core bank systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Skillful at establishing priorities and channeling effort productively
  • Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment, good judgment, and ability to be well organized
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Knowledge of Commercial and Consumer Loan collateral requirements
  • Previous banking experience required, minimum two years in commercial loan documentation
Computer and Software Skills:
  • Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
