You will also work with the product safety team to identify and resolve any product safety claims. In this role, you will evaluate electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the root cause of failure. You will set up processes to determine why failures are happening and recommend corrective action to prevent reoccurrence of problems. You will need to recognize customer induced damage and be comfortable analyzing all potential failure modes, including issues related to packaging/logistics, software/firmware, and mechanical or electrical issues. You will develop procedures and automation to support high volume field failure analysis. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
