Distribution's purpose is to provide on-time shipments of high-quality products to meet customer needs in a safe and efficient manner that minimizes costs. The purpose of this position is to attend to all day-to-day customer/carriers' needs with a focus on inventory movement/management and product storage, to achieve the department and business objectives. This position will play a key role in inventory control, customer service functions, administrative, and SAP functions. Day-to-day general direction provided by Logistics Plant Leadership.Hourly rate: $28.62 with a shift differential. The customer service representatives are scheduled for 12 hours to coincide with the crews (ABCD); flexibility required for off-shifts and weekends. Schedule may change based on business needs. Overtime will follow a fair share policy.In this role, you will:Creates STO's, conducts PGI's, PGR's and process inbound chep, white wood using MIGO and all associated SAP transactionsCommunicates with HUB dispatch on shiftCoordinates inbound loads with dock coordinatorCreates production bills for CDW1/CDW2Receive BOL's using MIGO transactionsEffectively plans and prioritizes work with minimal supervisionFulfill DPS loads of finished goodsAudit Yard view to ensure finished goods loads have been outbound in VectorAudit SAP to ensure Direct Shipments have been picked upMaintains daily Z audit managementEffectively partner with dock coordinator and site departmental leaders for operational needsEfficient communication with production planners, materials coordinator, and inventory specialist to drive resultsParticipate in annual inventoryFollow plant QN process (ability to create and follow up with outside warehouses)Miscellaneous tasks as needed by the businessFulfill requirements as an FTO or back up DC as neededWhat we look for:Critical thinking for troubleshooting logistics/material issues.Knowledge of distribution operations (inventory, warehouse management, dock/trailer yard coordination, safety procedures).Proficiency in Clorox systems (Vector, SAP, Yard view).Strong skills in communication, interpersonal relations, organization, and computer use.Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Detail-oriented, willing to learn, creative, and urgent.Commitment to plant non-negotiables and company core values.Flexible hours and overtime availability, including off shifts and weekends.Support for distribution improvement projects.Understanding of GME processes.Meets criteria in performance, leadership, attendance, job skills.Forklift certification required.Inventory counter certification required or ability to obtain.Perform yard checks and update information.Travel around Atlanta Campus as needed.Be below the written reminder step in attendance and/or work performanceMust have critical thinking ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise due to logistics / materialKnowledge of Distribution operations include inventory and warehouse management, dock and trailer yard coordination, and safety procedures to maintain GME standardsStrong commitment to plant's non-negotiables and company's core values#LI-ONSITEWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
