Parsons Corporation is hiring a seasoned Construction Director to lead major infrastructure projects across Abu Dhabi. Role Summary**

As a Construction Director, you will oversee a portfolio of major infrastructure projects from pre-construction through execution, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget delivery. You ll guide multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with government authorities and contractors, and uphold the highest standards in construction quality and safety. This is a pivotal role for a leader who thrives in complex, high-stakes environments.

What You ll Do

* Direct and supervise project delivery teams including Construction Managers, Project Directors, Senior Resident Engineers, and Resident Engineers

* Oversee execution of large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on highways, tunnels, and bridges

* Ensure construction operations align with budget, timeline, and quality benchmarks

* Anticipate risks such as scope changes and delays; implement mitigation strategies proactively

* Collaborate with technical design teams to resolve project challenges and optimize delivery outcomes

* Act as the primary liaison with client representatives, contractors, and regulatory authorities

* Develop and enforce project-specific policies and procedures

* Provide regular progress updates and formal presentations to upper management and clients

* Foster a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence across all phases of construction

* Contribute to bid preparation and business development for future supervision and PMC contracts

* Lead internal and external relationship-building efforts to enhance project performance and reputation

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

* Minimum 20 years of diversified construction leadership experience, including managing large-scale civil and structural projects

* Proven track record in delivering infrastructure megaprojects in the GCC, especially the UAE

* Deep knowledge of construction practices, budget control, quality management, and risk mitigation

* Skilled in leading large, multidisciplinary teams in dynamic, multicultural environments

* Strong client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills

* Effective communicator with the ability to present confidently at executive and community levels

* Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership in both technical and commercial aspects of project execution
