CGI Artist / 3D Visualiser

Role and Responsibilities

The CGI Artist / 3D Visualiser will be responsible for producing high-quality architectural visualisations for concept presentations, competitions, and client submissions. Working closely with the design team, you will be expected to interpret architectural drawings, translate design intent, and deliver compelling visual narratives through static renders and animation when required.
You will contribute to both internal design reviews and external presentations, supporting the broader architectural vision of the practice.

The main roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Produce high-quality 3D renderings from CAD/Revit models, sketches, or concept references.

· Develop architectural scenes in 3ds Max, SketchUp, or Revit and render using V-Ray, Corona, or Lumion.

· Apply lighting, materials, textures, and post-production techniques to enhance realism and atmosphere.

· Create architectural animations or walkthroughs when required.

· Collaborate with the design team to understand project intent and ensure visuals align with the architectural concept.

· Interpret architectural drawings, sketches, and material palettes to translate them into photorealistic images.

· Participate in internal design meetings and incorporate feedback from architects, associates, and directors.

· Ensure all visual assets are delivered in line with project timelines and presentation requirements.

· Maintain an organised asset library (materials, models, lighting setups) for efficient workflow and reuse.

· Adhere to internal project programs and deadlines for both interim and final deliverables.

· Prepare visuals in support of authority submissions and client presentations, aligned with local UAE standards.

· Exhibit interest and passion for working on international projects across both Australia and the UAE.

· Translate hand-drawn sketches and conceptual designs into Revit-based architectural models and detailed drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections.

Core Competencies

- Strong design sensibility and ability to visually communicate architectural ideas.

- Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and material realism.

- Proficient in 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, V-Ray, Corona, Lumion, Photoshop, and other relevant rendering tools.

- Ability to interpret 2D and 3D architectural information accurately.

- Highly organised, responsive, and capable of working independently and in team environments.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized thought process, polite and respectful.

Qualifications, Education and professional Requirements

· Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field with a focus on visualisation.

· Minimum 4+ years industry Experience within Medium to Large Scale Residential projects.

· Proven experience creating photorealistic imagery for architecture or interior design.

· Experience working on UAE or GCC projects is an advantage.
